Towards a Nature-Positive Economy Roadmap for Europe: Public Consultation

Online Webinar | 24 June 2026 | Two identical sessions

How can Europe accelerate the transition towards a nature-positive economy while balancing competitiveness, investment, resilience, and long-term prosperity?

That is the question at the heart of the GoNaturePositive! project, and it is the question we are bringing to public consultation on 24 June 2026.

We are inviting economists, policymakers, industry strategists, consultants, researchers, and anyone with expertise relevant to the Nature-Positive Economy to join an interactive online session. Together we will review what the evidence is telling us about how to scale up nature-positive activity across Europe, and we will use the consultation to refine and strengthen the recommendations that will follow.

What the session covers

The hour-long consultation will present the GoNaturePositive! project’s review of existing data and roadmaps. This evidence base will inform the recommendations we develop for scaling up the nature-positive economy across Europe, and your input on the day will help shape what those recommendations look like.

During the session you will:

  • Gain insights into emerging pathways for fostering a nature-positive economy

  • Explore current economic, financial, and policy trends shaping the transition

  • Contribute your perspectives and feedback through an interactive consultation

  • Learn about next steps and future opportunities for engagement

Two identical sessions

To make participation possible across different schedules and time zones, we are running the same consultation twice on the same day. Please choose whichever slot suits you best.

Slot 1: 24 June 2026, 10:00 to 11:00 CET

Slot 2: 24 June 2026, 14:00 to 15:00 CET

Who should attend

The consultation is designed for policymakers, business leaders, and researchers, alongside anyone working to accelerate Europe’s transition toward a regenerative, equitable, and resilient economy that puts nature at its core.

We are particularly keen to hear from economists, policymakers, industry strategists, consultants, and researchers whose expertise touches on the nature-positive economy in any of its dimensions, whether that is finance, regulation, sectoral transition, metrics, governance, or beyond.
